As the United States gives Syria some $250 million worth of non-lethal military hardware the Syrian opposition demands more.
Middle East Online quotes the Syrian opposition calling for "surgical strikes" to be carried out by the US on positions where Assad's forces are launching missiles at populated areas from. They want such strikes to be carried out "by unmanned aerial vehicles."
Global Post quotes Yaser Tabbara the spokesperson for the Prime Minister of the opposition-founded interim government saying that, "Assad is firing missiles against densely populated areas . . . without consequences. Throwing money at the problem won't solve it."
