article imageVideo: NAB 2013 Rotolight lightweight portable LED lighting Special

By AR Vasquez     Apr 21, 2013 in Technology
Las Vegas - At NAB 2013, Digital Journal took a look at RTS Rotolight's advanced LED lighting system. Mike Stango showed us how easy it was to set up a powerful lighting system for the videographer or photographer when he or she is on the go.
What we liked about the kit is that it was compact, easy to carry around and set up. When the filter was applied, it provided a smoothing and warming affect to the subjects being filmed. The Rotolight runs on three double AA batteries which make it simple to power up and replace as needed. The kit comes with many filters which are simple to change and sit inside the Rotolight so there is no need to worry about a container to house them.
...Rotolight RL48-B ‘Stealth’ HD LED ringlight provides warm, shadowless light, with studio accurate colour at 6300K, 5600K (daylight equivalent), 4300K and 3200K (tungsten equivalent) light fast, when you need it, so you’ll never miss that perfect shot.
Now 25% brighter, Rotolight is perfect for both HD cinematography, videography, or HD/DSLR photography...
... includes a filter holder and calibration filter kit (made by LEE filters) having perfect colour, ease of use, in a lightweight and highly portable package, Rotolight gives the user a superb self-contained lighting solution for any shoot. -- Rotolight

In addition, the kits include 'Add-On Colour FX Filter Kit' with 10 popular Lee Lighting colour filter gels, and eight Colour FX filters for sidelight, backlight, kicker or toplight and two cosmetic filters for skin tone enhancement.
