Boston - The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) appears to be letting the Boston Red Sox off the hook for fines after player David Ortiz delivered a short passionate speech that included the F word.
According to USA Today, Ortiz gave the speech to Red Sox fans on Saturday, as the team returned to Fenway Park in Boston.
According to Deadline, in the speech, Ortiz says that this is our fucking city and nobody is going to dictate our freedom.
According to Huffington post, shortly after the speech, the FCC sent out a Tweet via their official and verified Twitter account.
That Tweet read: David Ortiz spoke from the heart at today's Red Sox game. I stand with Big Papi and the people of Boston - Julius
For those that do not know who Julius is, he is the chairman of the FCC.
