Washington - A letter intended for President Barack Obama has tested positive for the deadly substance ricin. The President was never in any danger, as letters addressed to the White House go through extensive security screening.
The latest poisoned sent letter is the second such incident in days.
Yesterday, a letter intended for Republican Senator Roger Wicker was also intercepted and found to contain the same deadly substance.
The White House issued the following statement concerning the foundlings:
Before we speculate, before we make connections that we don’t know exist, that the FBI has made a clear statement about, we need to get the facts
The recent incidents come straight after the deadly bomb blasts in Boston, though authorities have not claimed any link between the two.
