Chris Holmes, 31, from Britain, decided to hand in his resignation letter and he wanted to leave on good terms, so Holmes decided to bake a cake and ice the letter onto the cake.
According to The Star, Holmes said that the project took around two hours to complete. The resignation letter even included his signature.
According to Opposing Views, Holmes's submitted his cake on Monday, and the reason he cited was that he became a new father and he realized how short life was and how precious his life is. He said that he would rather spend time with his family and focus on his cake business.
According to Irish Independent, Holmes also included a plug for his business, saying that he wishes his colleagues all the best and if they liked his cake, then they are free to order more.
His brother-in-law posted a photo of the cake to Twitter and since then the photo has been re-tweeted more than 5,000 times.
