article imageDad flashes cash on Facebook, then gets hit for child support

By Owen Weldon     Apr 5, 2013 in Crime
Christopher Robinson, of Milwaukee, is facing felony charges after he allegedly failed to pay his child support and flashing his money on Facebook.
According to DailyDot, Robinson showed off wads of cash and booze. Court documents claim that Robinson, 23, has a 2-year-old child, and when it comes to child support, he has never made a payment.
According to Huffington Post, he is now being charged with three felony counts of failure to support his child. Robinson was supposed to be paying around $150 a month in child support.
According to NewsOne, Facebook was ordered by the Milwaukee County District Court to allow them full access to Robinson's account. The social networking site can help build cases against people who owe child support by providing police with evidence of a lifestyle out of line with payment.
Kent Lovern, the Milwaukee County Chief Deputy District Attorney, said that in the past Facebook has helped him and his team figure out if a person is lying about their financial situation.
