The Planned Parenthood of Indiana is holding their annual Get Yourself Tested campaign for on April 12. April is National STD Awareness Month.
Planned Parenthood is holding their fifth annual campaign because the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says that every year, in the US alone, there are 20 million new STD infections, according to IndianaPublicMedia.
According to Fox, the Planned Parenthood Centers will be offering free screenings for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
According to WBIW, the Women's Health Fund has made the tests possible.
People who want to get tested can go to centers located in Avon, Bloomington, Columbus, Evansville, Fishers, Fort Wayne and Hammond too name just a few places people can go to if they are interested in getting tested.
