Indianapolis - A middle-aged man thought he was meeting a 16-year-old girl for sex. However, the man ended up being robbed at gunpoint.
The man, who is 41-years-old, thought he was meeting a teen with whom he was talking on Facebook, according to DailyDot. Apparently, the girl set him up and her buddies ended up taking his wallet, his phone and his credit cards after robbing him at gunpoint.
On Thursday, the Indianapolis man told police that the girl wanted to meet him for sex, and he went and picked her up around 2 p.m.. He then drove to downtown Indianapolis, where they were supposed to go to one of her friend's house, where there was a party, according to UPI.
According to Indianapolis Star, when they arrived at the abandoned house, the teen told the man to wait for her outside and she would return with her friend. However, a few moments later two males approached him at gunpoint and took his cell phone, wallet and his keys.
The four robbers then took the man's 2013 Lexus and did a little bit of shopping using his credit cards. Three other male teens stayed with the victim and held him against his will. The others eventually returned with the man's vehicle.
The man then drove back to his home and told him that he had been robbed.
It is not clear if any arrests were made. The police report says that there are seven suspects who are between the ages of 14 and 20.
