Miami Beach - Police in South Florida are investigating the death of a four-year-old girl, who died after being shot inside a car on Saturday night.
According to NBC, the incident took place in Miami-Dade, just after 6 p.m.. The girl was sitting inside a parked car with a few other young children.
Police say that the girl, Rahquel Carr, was shot in the upper body, and she died at Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to Miami Herald.
Investigators said that it is not clear if one of the other kids in the vehicle was responsible for the shooting.
According to CBS, investigators said that there was an adult around the vehicle when the incident occurred, but they have yet to confirm who fired off the gun.
Carr's family members said that her 6-year-old brother was playing around with the gun, and it went off by accident.
Police have questioned the gun owner, but no arrests have been made.
