Lindsay Lohan sentenced to 90 days in locked rehab

By Owen Weldon     Mar 18, 2013 in Entertainment
Actress Lindsay Lohan went to Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, where she was found to be in violation of her probation and failing to obey all of the laws after a car accident that took place on June 2012.
According to Today, Lohan, in front of Judge James Dabney, accepted a plea agreement that mandates that she goes to a "locked rehab facility" for 90 days. This means that Lohan will not be able to leave the facility before the 90-day period ends, and this is even if she gets a permission slip or a day pass.
Lohan will also need to complete 30 days of community labor, which she will be able to serve in New York.
According to CNN, Dabney had some words to say to Lohan after he handed her the sentence. He told her that he suggests that she does not drive.
According to Fox, Dabney also told Lohan that she needed to take the matter seriously.
Before Lohan accepted the plea deal, she was facing up to 245 days in jail for allegedly lying to police.
