By Can Tran     Mar 16, 2013 in Entertainment
The latest DLC for "Sleeping Dogs" called "Year of the Snake" is currently available. This story-driven DLC takes place after the events of the main story. This DLC pits Wei Shen against a doomsday cult.
The launch trailer has been released for the latest story-driven downloadable content (DLC) for the free-world undercover martial arts game called “Sleeping Dogs.” This DLC is called “Year of the Snake,” which is the third story-driven DLC released for the game. “Nightmare in Northport” which is a supernatural story-driven DLC was the first while “Zodiac Tournament” which is a homage to Bruce Lee's “Enter the Dragon” was the second. However, Year of the Snake takes place after the events of the main story.
Wei Shen, finishing his assignment as an undercover cop investigating the triads, returns to official work as a member of the police force; but, due to angering many people in the process while undercover, Shen gets busted down to being a uniformed beat cop. Shen, dissatisfied with what's going on, says “This Sucks!” as the trailer shows. Now, Shen has to deal with a doomsday cult called the Cult of the Snake which is deluded with a sense of self-righteousness. To pursue “salvation,” the cult plans to paint Hong Kong in blood. As a result, Shen has to take down the Cult of the Snake.
Currently, the Year of the Snake DLC is available for all versions. You can get this for the Playstation 3 from the Playstation Network and for Xbox 360 from Xbox Live.
