What distinguishes this plan when compared to previous attacks is that it really seems to be organized by Anonymous-affiliated groups from around the world in what looks like a joining of forces."

If the attack happens it would be the second major #OpIsrael cyber attack operation. Anonymous launched the first major concerted attack in retaliation for the Israeli "Pillar of Defense" military operation against Gaza in November 2012.
RT reports that about 700 Israeli websites including official websites operated by the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the Israeli President's official website suffered cyber-attacks.
The Israeli Finance Ministry said an estimated 44 million unique attacks were launched on government websites.
Anonymous also exposed the personal data of 5,000 Israeli officials.
