Riverdale - When a Glee screenwriter met the CEO of Archie Comics at a recent comic convention a new two-headed baby was born. The television and comic book worlds collide in a brilliant mash-up which is sure to be a ratings smash.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa inked the arc which is continued in four Archie comic books with the Archie Meets Glee moniker issues 641 through 644 drawn by Don Parent and on sale later this week.
The two worlds of Riverdale and McKinley High schools merge through a wormhole and all kinds of chaos are unleashed with; Jughead battling Sue Sylvester,Veronica becoming hot and bothered by Finn, Kevin Keller crushing on Blaine and a special cameo from Josie and The Pussycats who try to recruit Mercedes as a lead singer..
Glee creator Ryan Murphy is happy that the crossover
"celebrates the two worlds, Not just their similarities but their differences, which I think we've done."
"The Archie brand is very versatile and we're continuing to explore our limits every day."
said Archie Comics co- CEO Jon Goldwater.
