The jet ski operator accused of running over R&B star Usher Raymond's stepson, Kile Glover Glover, last summer, has been arrested.
TMZ reports that Jeffrey Simon Hubbard was indicted Thursday by a grand jury in Hall County, Georgia for "serious injury by a vessel" and "reckless endangerment by a vessel."
11-year-old Kile Glover was on an inflatable raft when Hubbard collided with him last July. Kile was vacationing with his father Ryan Glover. He suffered severe brain injuries and never woke up. He was declared brain dead on July 8, and died on July 21.
Usher, Kile Foster's stepfather, through his marriage with his ex-wife, celebrity stylist, Tameke Foster. has seemingly been trying to keep his mind off the entire ordeal. According to The Daily Mail, he was recently spotted riding his motorcycle around Manhattan. Usher filed for divorce from Foster in 2009 leading to a very nasty and lengthy custody battle of the couple's two sons, Usher Raymond V, and Naviyd.
Meanwhile, the singer has seemed eager to throw himself into his work. Just last weekend, he performed alongside Ludacris, Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri at the So So Def 20th Anniversary concert.
