Sicilian city of Catania hit by torrential rains and flooding

However, in Italy, Catania was turned into a raging river when strong waters washed away parked cars, motorcycles, chairs and tables. Apparently around 50 liters per square meter fell in only half an hour. Hundreds of firefighters have gone to the rescue, but so far only one person has been injured. However, firefighters and rescuers are reportedly searching for a man who was carried away by the flood waters.
