Kuwait - Table tennis is not necessarily known for making the highlight reel on sports television, but video of a shot made by Quentin Robinot during a tournament has begun to go viral.
A video of an amazing shot made during a qualifying match for Kuwait Open Table Tennis Tournament had started to go viral, receiving nearly 208,000 views thus far.
During the qualifying match, Frenchman Quentin Robinot was competing against Kiryl Barabanov, a player from Belarus. Robinot served the ball and during a short rally, he was caught moving to his right when the return shot from Barabanov went to the left. Robinot, a right handed player, reaches around his back and makes the return shot, a shot MSN calls "one of the greatest returns you'll see."
The shot caught the back corner of the table, winning the point for Robinot.
The Huffinton Post reports that Barabanov seemed confused and in awe for a moment. Upon realizing that the shot was winner, he could do nothing more than smile and applaud Robinot for the spectacular shot.
According to USA Today, more than 100 players were entered into the tournament.
