A local CBS reporter Carter Evans was caught in the ongoing firefight between the police and Christopher Dorner Tuesday. Someone can be heard shouting at the reporter "Get the f**k out of the way!"
Dorner is on the run from police after he allegedly killed three people including the daughter of a retired police of police officer and her fiance.
Carter Evans, a CBS reporter was at the scene of the ongoing gunfight with the police. In the audio recording, the station's anchor says: "It certainly sounds like a lot of gunfire."
Evans responds: "We don't want to get caught in the crossfire."
As he speaks heavy exchange of fire can be heard. Someone shouts: "Get the f--k out of here!" Then more gunfire.
It appears the pesky reporter was in someone's way.
The anchor at CBS asks if Evans was still there but there was no response.
The Huffington Post reports CBS later confirmed that the reporter was okay.
