London - "Argo" has won another prize as The British Academy Film Awards have just finished being awarded in London today (Feb. 10).
The BAFTAs have been called the British Oscars and the stars came out and marked another journey in award season.
Besides the top prize, Ben Affleck has take one more as director for "Argo" but he cannot win Oscar since he is not nominated. That will truly make that category one of the highlights of the evening, outside of best picture. A split is where it seems to be heading, unless a "Life of PI" or "Lincoln" take over the night. The film with the most nominations is usually the favorite, but the rise and momentum for "Argo" has thrown out the books this time.
In these awards, one could say there are more than one top prize for film, as they honor a British film, along with top film, and one more not in the English language.
