A man from Oregon is suing the U.S. government and an IRS agent , claiming that an IRS agent coerced him into having sex.
According to Gawker, Vincent Burroughs, from Fall Creek, Oregon, is claiming that Dora Abrahamson, an IRS agent, coerced him into sex. Burroughs says that the trouble started in August of 2011 when Abrahamson called him and told him that he was going to be audited.
Burroughs said that the news was surprising and so were the text messages that he continued to receive from the IRS agent.
According to CBS, Burroughs said that over the course of two months Abrahamson sent several flirty messages, offering to give him massages and sending him racy pictures of herself to his phone. Burroughs said that the agent even told him that she knew more about him than his own mother knew about him.
According to Forbes, Burroughs alleges that eventually the two did meet and had sex after the agent told him that "she can be a bitch or that she could be nice" about his audit, and later implying that she could get him no penalty or up to 40%.
Burroughs is now seeking punitive damages, claiming that the conduct of the agent caused him mental distress, anguish, humiliation, lost income, depression and a loss of trust in governmental authority
