Oklahoma State guard Markel Brown scored a last-minute lay-up to give his NCAA Big 12 team the overtime win against the Baylor Bears. The game-winner came moments after Oklahoma's Michael Cobbins blocked the Baylor dunk attempt.
After Cobbins rejected the Baylor offense, Brown snagged the loose ball and scurried up the court, quickly laying up the ball and giving Oklahoma St. (16-5, 6-3 Big 12) a 69-67 lead with 0.2 seconds left in overtime.
Brown, who scored 13 points and hauled five rebounds, gave Oklahoma St. the win against a tenacious Baylor team who clawed back from a horrendous deficit.
Pierre Jackson notched a game-high 24 points to go along with eight assists for Baylor (14-8, 5-4, but he also committed 11 of the Bears' 16 turnovers.
The video of Brown's last-minute heroics was posted online moments after the win, courtesy of ESPN.
In the Big 12 standings, Oklahoma St. is third, trailing behind Kansas and Kansas State. Baylor is three teams behind the team who eked out a win against them tonight.
