article imageJones vs. Morgan Round 2

By Alex Allen     Feb 4, 2013 in Politics
Katy - Piers Morgan, British journalist and host of CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, is filming a live show at Tactical Firearms, a gun store in Katy, Texas, tonight; and who better to confront him than Alex Jones, the man who rendered him speechless on his own show?
After he and his crew at Infowars.com created a petition to deport CNN's Piers Morgan because of his attack on the 2nd amendment, radio host Alex Jones was invited to come on Piers Morgan's show to debate him live. Morgan and his crew were shocked, however, at Jones' behavior on the show. Alex, who is known for being very passionate and outspoken about his beliefs, didn't hold anything back in this debate. In fact, he hardly let Morgan get a single word in during the entire debate and even called him a "redcoat", a "tyrant," and a "Hatchet man of the New World Order." He also stated early in the debate that "1776 would rise again" if the government came after the guns.
Although Jones and his crew-mate Rob Dew were kicked out of the CNN studio and not allowed to participate in the second half of the program, Jones reached out to Morgan, asking him to participate in a moderated debate and today, took the opportunity to confront Piers Morgan in person for the first time since their heated argument in New York.
Alex Jones' website, Infowars.com, reported the following earlier today: "Morgan will today visit Tactical Firearms in Katy, Texas, a gun shop that was unfairly portrayed as being sympathetic to the Obama administration's evisceration of the right to bear arms in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook shootings." Jones went on to say in a YouTube video that he would personally be heading to Katy, Texas to peacefully protest and confront Piers Morgan. Hours later, Jones released another video on YouTube in which he briefly spoke with Piers Morgan.
In this brief conversation, Jones shook hands with Morgan and asked him if he would be having him back on his show, to which Morgan replied "my ears haven't recovered yet." Jones went on to explain that he was sick with a fever the night of the debate and that he didn't "blow up" on purpose, but the way it turned out was good for people to talk about the debate. Morgan agreed that it got a lot of people talking and said there was "no problem with that." Morgan finally said with a laugh that he "didn't want to promote him that much" by having him back on his show again.
After his brief talk with Piers Morgan, Alex Jones joined fans and supporters outside for a protest, which is featured in this video. This protest is currently ongoing as of 09:21 CST on Feb. 4, 2013.
