article imageOp-Ed: Straight talk from the Coalition for Marriage

By Alexander Baron     Jan 30, 2013 in Lifestyle
The powerful homosexual lobby has opened a Pandora’s box with its demand that both society and the law recognise same sex marriage. Who says so? These people.
Although not a charity (yet?) the Coalition for Marriage was incorporated as a non-profit making company on December 13, 2011. Like every other organisation nowadays it has a website; it has also uploaded a few videos to YouTube, 28 to date, and this is its latest, a dedicated short piece of straight talk.
Those who want a longer piece of straight talk will find a video by one of their better known supporters here. Anne Widdicombe is one of those rare birds, a politician who always has something meaningful to say, whether or not you agree with her. Among other things she points out that so-called gay marriage would not give homosexuals anything they don’t have already due to the introduction of civil partnerships, but it would open both the institution of marriage itself and the language to further indesirable perversions, as it already has elsewhere.
The Coalition for Marriage is a registered not for profit company.
