Facebook is still the top social networking site, and by a large margin, but Google's Google+ is now the second biggest social networking site.
According to ZDNet, Facebook has around 700-million users who are active.
Facebook, Google+ and Twitter are still experiencing growth. According to data collected in GWI.8, there is still a shift in usage from localize social platforms to global platforms.
According to TapScape, the graph showed that MySpace beat out other popular social networking sites such as Badoo, Pinterest, Orkut, Bebo and Tumblr.
According to Forbes, one of the reasons for Google+'s boost in active users is that more and more people are becoming aware of its value in a business context.
Google has also promised that Google+ profiles will factor more in search rankings, and people are paying attention and adding links on their profile that lead to their content.
