Many sights and sounds where heard as the 2013 presidential inauguration commenced. Not only that, one photobomb exploded on social media as well.
First the photobomb that became an instant hit on social media was when Bill Clinton poked his head out when Kelly Clarkson was singing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" this morning (Jan. 21.)
As for the "most Listened to" moments during the actual speech by President Barack Obama, one only has to turn to Hark for the list. They are the world's only sound bite platform.
"The presidential election produced some dramatic moments and this inaugural speech reflected that drama, producing powerful sound bites that dominated Twitter most of the morning," said Hark CEO David Aronchick.
1. “I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear. . .”
2. “It is now our generation's task to carry on what those pioneers began.”
3. "We are true to our creed when a little girl born into the bleakest poverty. . ."
4. "Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters. . ."
5. "For history tells us that while these truths may be self-evident, they have never been self-executing."
6. "We are made for this moment and we will seize it, so long as we seize it together."
7. “We will defend our people and uphold our values through strength of arms and rule of law.”
8. “A decade of war is now ending.”
9. “The oath I have sworn before you today. . ."
10. “And, we must be a source of hope to the poor, the sick, the marginalized, the victims of prejudice.”
So, what is Hark? "As the world’s only sound bite platform, we are proud that our content on Hark can help tell the story of the democratic process in a more informative and entertaining manner," added Aronchick.
