President Barack Obama will be sworn-in for his second term in office in a private ceremony today at the White House's Blue Room. You can watch a live stream of the swearing-in here which will take place just before 12 p.m. ET.
Recall that at the 2009 presidential inauguration, Barack Obama and the Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, bungled their lines. The men were forced to hold a second swearing-in before a private audience a day later. Today, millions of Americans will be hoping that things go smoothly this time.
ABC News reports Obama will be sworn in using a Bible that belonged to First Lady Michelle Obama’s grandmother, LaVaughn Delores Robinson.
ABC News also reports that an estimated 800,000 people are expected to gather in Washington D.C. on Monday for a second ceremony.
The Vice President Joe Biden, was sworn in on Sunday morning at the Naval Observatory.
