A gunman wearing a hoodie was caught on security camera moments before he shot Raphael Martinez, 54, a livery-cab driver early on Sunday morning in the Bronx area of New York.
The photo shows the goateed man in the backseat threatening Raphael Martinez , 54, with a gun moments before he opened fire.
According to the Daily Mail, Martinez did not understand the gunman's demand. The gunman fired five times, hitting him twice. He waited until the victim stumbled out of the car and shot him once again!
The New York Post reports that police say the incident happened at the White Plains Road and Lafayette Avenue in the Soundview section around 5.10 a.m.
The victim was hospitalized at the Jacobi Medical Center. Police say he is now in a stable condition. The hooded gunman shot him in the face twice.

Martinez's brother Julian, said: "My brother was saying, ‘Wait! I don’t understand you!’" But the "creep" started shooting. Julian added: "[The gunman] didn't give him time. He just shot him. All he had was $8."
The Daily Mail reports that Manny Lopez, who works at DAT, the livery service where Martinez works, said he called for help on radio after he was shot.
The suspect is described as a young man in his 20s. The NY Daily News reports he was wearing a "tan bubble jacket and a hooded sweatshirt" with "Abercrombie Fitch" written on the front (see image above).
According to the Daily Mail, the victim, Martinez, is a married man with three children.
