The iPotty training toilet unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas features an iPad holder to keep toddlers entertained during the potty training process.
CTA Digital unveiled the new iPotty at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas recently. The training toilet comes complete with a holder for the Apple iPad 2 and iPad 3 and will sell for $39.99 when it hits and US stores this spring.
This high-tech training toilet features the same features as most potty-training toilets, including a removable plastic seat, potty bowl and splashguard. What sets this toilet apart from others is the clip-on attachment that holds an iPad — turning the potty into a high-tech activity center.
The iPad stand is adjustable and features a clear protector to keep it clean. The holder rotates between vertical and horizontal views, and can also be removed completely.
CTA Digital recommends the iPotty for children between the ages of six months and three years.
The iPotty does not come with toilet training apps, however there do exist potty training apps designed to reward toddlers for a job well done.
“It's novel to a lot of people but we've gotten great feedback from parents who think it'd be great for training." said CTA Digital product specialist Camilo Gallardo.
CTA Digital is looking into whether other tablets can be used with the iPotty’s attachment.
