Before its airing nationwide in Japan, the anime called "Sasami-San@Ganbaranai" has unveiled its launch trailer. In a week after it's Japan airing, the series will air in the United States.
The third preview video which is also the launch trailer has been uploaded for the upcoming soon-to-be aired Japanese anime series called “Sasami-San@Ganbaranai.” It will stream first in Japan and then a week later in the United States. It is one of those chick-flick romantic-comedy anime titles. So far, it seems that Sasami-San@Ganbaranai is geared towards the demographic of female viewers.
The story of the series focuses on a young high school girl named Sasami Tsukuyomi who is known as a “hikikomori” which is defined as people who have an extreme case of social withdrawal. They refuse to leave their homes let alone their rooms for days, to weeks, and months. Sasami is under the care of her older brother who teachers at the school she's supposed to attend. However, she is able to see the world and do her work through a special device called the “Brother Surveillance Tool” which works with the computer system hooked up into her room.
Eventually, Sasami comes into odds with the Yagami sisters who are interested in her brother. This sparks off an adventure in which Sasami will have to actually step out of her home. On January 10, it will air in Japan on the Japanese network TBS. On January 18, an English-subbed version will air on The Anime Network. Anime on Demand will be streaming the series. It is adapted from the light novel series of the same name.
