A new promotional video, in the form of a brief commercial, has been released for the soon-to-air Japanese anime series called "Amnesia."
A commercial ad has been released for the upcoming Japanese anime called “Amnesia” which is due to air in a couple of days in Japan. The anime is a direct adaptation of the visual novel for the Playstation Portable (PSP) of the same name. If those that haven't played the visual novel for the PSP, then imagine that today is August 1 and you wake up with absolutely no memories of who your are and what happened in the past. Then, imagine being introduced by a “spirit” that guides you finding your memories. After that, you get a phone call from a person that is your “significant other” and you don't know who that person's face.
That's the story of Amnesia for the most part. The story focuses on a female who simply goes by the name of “Heroine” who wakes up on August 1 with no recollection of the past. Then, she is visited by a young looking boy named Orion who calls himself a “spirit.” Through Orion, the nameless heroine is on a journey to recollect her memories. Then, she gets a call from her cell phone with the caller ID of “Boyfriend.” Going through amnesia, the heroine goes out to meet the person who is supposed to be her “boyfriend” while she does not know about him, his name, or his face.
The first episode is due to air on January 8. In the commercial, the opening song is played which is “Zoetrope” by Nagi Yanagi.
