Up and coming Atlanta rapper Yung Teddy was found dead Wednesday night, January 2, just hours after tweeting about a text message death threat he received.
Yung Teddy, whose real name was Justin Mitchell, was found shot to death in his apartment in Austell, a suburb in Atlanta at 10:18, police say, according to The AJC. He was 23.
Five hours before his death, the rapper tweeted "N*GGAS WANNA SEE ME DEAD."
Mitchell also posted the actual death threats he received earlier that day.
According to witnesses, two men were at the scene of the crime right before the murder took place, HipHopDX reports. These men are considered suspects in the Yung Teddy's murder and investigators are seeking help in finding them.
According to The AJC, the first suspect has been described as a thin black man between the ages of 20 and 23, and is said to be about 5 ft 6 5 ft 7. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, dark pants, and a black beanie hat. He was also said to be carrying a handgun.
The second suspect, also a black man, is said to be between 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6. He was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie, and a navy blue bandana, which covered his face.
