A special pre-order trailer has been released for the upcoming Sega game called "Aliens: Colonial Marines." To get people to pre-order, the trailer reveals references from the original 1986 movie "Aliens."
Sega, before the release of “Aliens: Colonial Marines,” is hyping up the game and finding ways to encourage consumers to go ahead and pre-order a copy of the game. For this, Sega has released a special trailer known as the “pre-order” trailer. In this brief one-minute trailer, it is revealed that you can play as some of the characters from the original movie “Aliens.” Apparently, if you pre-order, you get character models for Corporal Dwayne Hicks (who was played by Michael Biehn), Private Mark Drake (who was played by Mark Rolston), Private William Hudson (who was played by Bill Paxton), and Sergeant Al Apone (who was played by Al Matthews).
In the trailer, it says “Battle as Characters From Aliens.” Also, as a movie reference, one of the weapons you get to use is the flamethrower that was used by Ellen Ripley (who was played by Sigourney Weaver) who is the titular heroine of the Aliens movies. If you are a fan of the Aliens franchise, then you may want to pre-order the game to get a hold of these goodies.
This game is a first-person shooter that combines horror, suspense, and science-fiction together. Story-wise, it's supposed to take place after the events of Aliens. Aliens: Colonial Marines is set for release on February 11 for the PC, Wii U, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. It is developed by Gearbox Software and published by Sega.
