Houston - A 25-year-old woman on an international flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport died Wednesday morning before the plane reached its destination.
American Airlines flight 962 left Sao Paulo just after 1 a.m. The Boeing 777 diverted to George Bush Houston International airport, where it landed at 6:34 a.m. reported Chron.com
The woman’s name has yet to be released and the cause of death is unknown. Houston police said there were no signs of trauma. The coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Following the incident American Airlines released a statement saying the flight was diverted due to a medical emergency, but they weren’t able to provide any further information about the passenger, said DallasNews.com.
