The promotional trailer for the anime series "Cuticle Detective Inaba" has been released for viewing. The series is due to air on January 4.
As “Cuticle Detective Inaba” is set to air in Japan in a few days, a short promotional video has been made available for viewing to give audiences the idea of what the anime series will be like. The series is adapted from the manga of the same name which is written by Mochi and published by Gangan Comics. It's one of those comedic private detective series that has some sort of a supernatural twist to things while focusing on the part of solving mysteries and going up against a main villain.
The series focuses on Hiroshi Inaba, a genetically altered chimera who is half human and half wolf. He is known for his red hair that looks like wolf ears are popping up. His special ability is being able to get information about subjects by examining and tasting the hair of other people. Because of utilizing this ability, Inaba has a major obsession or fetish for other people's hair. Inaba is a former police officer turned private detective.
Like any typical private detective series, Inaba has assistants. In his case, he is assisted by a cross-dressing boy named Yuta and a normal straight boy named Kei. While solving cases, Inaba works to take down the mafia which is run by an anthropomorphic goat named Don Valentino who has a gourmet fetish for real money. The Don literally eats money provided that it's real.
Cuticle Detective Inaba is slated to be aired in Japan on January 4.
