Kanye West and Kim Kardashian expecting first child

Rapper Kanye West has announced that he and girlfriend, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, are expecting their first child together.

According to E! Kanye made the announcement during his third consecutive performance at Revel in Atlantic City Sunday night. "Now you having having my baby," Yeezy told a crowd of over 5,000 in song form, The Associated Press reports. The crowd cheered. Fans, friends, and family took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. "Well at least I wasn't the 1 who told, but congrats @kanyewest and kimkardashian," wrote G.O.O.D Music affiliate Malif Yusef. "Been wanting to shout this from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!" Kim's older sister Kourtney tweeted. Kim's mother, Kris Jenner wrote, "I'm a happy girl!!!!!! WOWZA! Oh BABY BABY BABY!!" Kim is about 12 weeks pregnant, E! reports. She and Kanye went public with their relationship in April, 2012.
