Just hours after being released from jail on child endangerment charges, comedian Katt Williams watched his good friend Suge Knight get into a brawl outside Hollywood's Eden nightclub Friday night.
According to TMZ, the fight ended with Suge nearly mowing people down with his SUV. He did not seem to want to kill anyone, but rather flee the scene as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Katt Williams had gotten into trouble Friday morning as he was arrested and jailed for the endangerment of his own his children.
This has been quite a terrible year for the comedian. Earlier this month, he announced his retirement from stand-up comedy to a KOMO News photographer.
E! News reports that Williams was arrested Friday morning at 8:30 from his Los Angeles area-home. According to TMZ, his children were placed in protective custody.
Williams faces possible felony child endangerment charges. The case is scheduled to go to the DA next week.
TMZ reports that police arrested Williams for having guns and weed in the house. "How do you keep kids safe without guns?" He asked. He also admitted to having weed, but said "Weed is not a drug."
In an interview with HipHopWired two weeks ago, Katt said "I been arrested 36 times in 5 years, but I never been in court, you figure it out. I don't care what they say. What they say, they love me, so how could I give a f*ck otherwise?"
Williams was arrested earlier this month for slapping a Target employee.
Later that same evening, he was arrested following a bar fight in Seattle and was bailed out early the next morning by his friend, Suge Knight.
The stand-up comic was scheduled to appear in Seattle Municipal Court the morning of December 12, and no-showed. Judge Willie Gregory issued two warrants for Williams' arrest for failing to appear. This was his second no-show.
