An agreement has been reached regarding the divorce settlement of billionaire former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and his second wife Veronica Lario. Berlusconi must pay €36 million each year to his ex-wife.
It's not surprising that Silvio Berlusconi, 76, is so keen to run for Prime Minister of Italy again. Not only would his election hand him a get out of free jail for the sentence he faces for tax fraud, but it would enable him to keep up with the divorce settlement to Veronica Lario.
Berlusconi recently announced his engagement to 27-year-old Francesca Pascale, thus needed to sort out his affairs with Lario so wedding number three can go ahead.
The former Italian Prime Minister married wife number two in 1990, but Lario left him in 2009 according to the BBC, after he was found consorting with minors at an 18-year-old's birthday party. Berlusconi has consistently denied any sexual misconduct.
