Friday, sixty-five-year-old Rolling Stones slide guitarist Ronnie Wood rocked his own world by marrying a 34-year-old theater producer he reportedly began dating earlier this year.
Woods married Sally Humphreys in a rather small ceremony shared with about 50 guests including long-time buddies Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart, according to
The Sun.
Fellow Stones Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were conspicuously absent from the blissful union between the aging rocker and his 31-years younger bride.
If the third time is a charm, Woods is good to go since this is his third marriage. The couple exchanged I-Dos inside the penthouse at the luxurious Dorchester Hotel overlooking London's Hyde Park.
According to The Sun, Woods accented a dark suit and tie with vibrant pink socks that flashed and clashed each time his pant legs raised a bit.
The bride reportedly wore her mother’s wedding frock, a white, floor length number that reportedly looked as good on her as it did on her musician mother years ago.
Wood’s 20-year marriage to his now ex-wife Jo imploded a few years back following an alleged affair he had with a very young cocktail waitress , an affair that eventually went the way of his decades-long marriage.
It is not clear how long or where the Woods plan to honeymoon, or when the rocker will return to the hot lights of international stages.
