In the newest video released for the upcoming title called "Bioshock Infinite," the first few minutes of game play are offered as the main character Booker DeWitt starts off the coast of Maine and finds his way into Columbia.
The latest video for the upcoming first-person shooter game called “Bioshock Infinite” has been released for viewing. In first-person view, as the game is played, you take on the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt who is the not so silent protagonist. It starts off with Booker and two other people on a dinghy off the coast of Maine during a rainy storm with Booker sitting in the back of the boat looking at his mission objectives.
After the brief ride on the rowboat, Booker finds himself looking at a tall lighthouse. At the lighthouse, Booker sees signs of foul play and signs that his retrieval job is going to be dangerous. From there, he is launched through a rocket pod into the aerial city of Columbia where the game's city takes place.
Bioshock Infinite is the third installment of the popular “Bioshock” series; but, it has no relation to the previous two games. Instead, the game takes place in another alternative time line. This game seemingly draws its inspiration from the genre of steampunk. While “Bioshock II” took place underwater, Bioshock Infinite takes place in the air.
Originally, the release date was set for February of 2013; it's been pushed back to March of 2013. This game will be available for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC.
