Former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal will be launching his own vodka line, which will be called Luv Shaq. O'Neal plans on launching the brand early next year.
According to NY Post, Luv Shaq is sugar and gluten free and comes in coconut flavor. The bottle also features an image of Shaq with giant wings. The founder of Devotion Vodka, Drew Adelman, says that the brand will compete against Ciroc, which is Sean "Diddy" Combs line of vodka. Devotion Vodka will be producing Shaq's line.
According to Huffington Post, Adelman said that Shaq's vodka will be offered at a more competitive price than Ciroc.
According to Daily Caller, Not only will Shaq's vodka go head-to-head with Combs' brand o vodka, but he will be competing with Bruce Willis "Sobieski" and Dan Aykryod's "Crystal Head" vodka. Wayne Gretzky also has his own line of wines from his estate, located in Ontario, Canada.
Shaq has dabbled in other industries, such as rap, video games, movies and television. Currently Shaq is an NBA analyst on the TNT.
