Newtown - In a few moments, President Obama will speak to those gathered at an Interfaith vigil for the victims of the the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.
The service began at 7:00 p.m. and is being carried live on CSPAN, as well as several other television networks.
The President arrived in Newtown, Connecticut earlier on Sunday, meeting with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and members of Connecticut's congressional delegation at Newtown High School, site of a prayer vigil led by the President.
According to the Connecticut Post, the mood was understandably subdued, with many in attendance still somewhat in shock. Several children wore "Sandy Hook School" sweatshirts to show their support of those lost, while several others wore their scout uniforms.
