There is outrage over the Westboro Baptist Church's plans for a praise gathering outside of Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut.
According to the Daily Mail, Westboro plans to gather outside of the school to celebrate 'God executing his judgement' in the shooting rampage that occurred there on Friday.
On Saturday, a member of the church said that the group plans to picket the school in a praise service.
According to Inquistr, not only did the group announce that they would picket at the site of the shooting but they also sent out numerous Tweets about the shooting.
Some of the Tweets that members sent out said things such as "you raise kids to rebel against God, you know better, and now the worst grade school shooting in US history".
According to Examiner, members of the church have been known to carry signs that read "Thank God for dead babies" and the like. However, it is not known what types of signs members will bring, if they do show up in Newtown, CT.
In the past, the Supreme Court ruled that it was legal for the church to picket funerals. However, despite the ruling, many cities have passed laws that require the church to not go near funerals, as they are required to stay a specific distance away from them.
