On Friday police said that a sock-stealing thief struck again, this time targeting a high school girl. The girl is the latest victim in a series of similar attacks.
The 16-year-old girl was walking in a Tokyo suburb when a man tackled her to the ground and ripped off her left sock and then fled with it, according to France24.
According to Bangkok Post, this attack is the fourth attack since September. All of the other victims were also high school girls who have had their socks stolen right from their feet.
Sources say that the latest victim was not injured during the attack. The thief is being described as a man in his thirties or forties.
It is also not clear if this incident is related to the other three incidents.
