An octogenarian in Minnesota decided to take up a hobby of a lifetime and a part-time job after he received a bicycle for Christmas fours years ago.
According to Tree Hugger, Bud Shaefer received a bicycle that was a gift to him from his adult children, and he wanted to make sure that they did not waste their money.
According to Twin Cities, Shaefer embraced biking and soon enough he started to earn money after he landed a part-time job delivering newspapers that he delivers in the afternoon.
According to KSN, Shaefer said that people think he does it for a living but he says he does not do it for the money. It is more about the journey.
In the winter time Shaefer does use a vehicle when the weather is bad, and then he bikes his route on his stationary bike in his basement.
