About $2.7 millions dollars worth of cocaine that was hidden in luggage has been seized by Federal customs agents at Miami International Airport.
According to CBS, on Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say that during a random search they found 231 pounds of cocaine. The drugs were in three pieces of luggage that had just arrived from Ecuador.
Sources say that Roland Suliveras, the Customs and Border Protection port director at Miami International Airport, said that the seizure of the drugs was a result of the dedication and hardwork of the CBP officers.
As of now there has been no arrests made, nor any further information.
