Man stabs more than 22 children in China

On Friday, a man in China stabbed more than twenty children as well as an adult at an elementary school located in central China.

According to Yahoo, the man stabbed 22 children at the gate of a school located in Chenpeng village in Henan province. According to sources, a spokesperson for the Guangshan county government in the central province of Henan said that the attacker has been detained. According to The Globe and Mail, the ages of the children were not mentioned and the injuries that the victims received were not life threatening. Over the past two years several violent attacks against children have occurred in China, which includes five incidents that occurred in 2010 which left 15 children dead as well as two adults dead.
