article imageVideo: Chinese inventor is ready for anything in the 'Apocalypse'

By Anne Sewell     Dec 13, 2012 in World
As people start getting silly, or should we say nervous, about the impending end of the world next week, a Chinese inventor says he has outdone Noah, with his own type of ark.
Many people still believe that December 21, 2012 is the last day on this earth. They say the Mayans predicted it, and they are still expecting it to happen.
One Chinese villager thinks he has what it takes to survive just about anything. He has invented a tsunami-proof survival pod. It even has pretty wallpaper.
Liu Quiyan, 45, a former farmer and furniture maker, shows off his creation in the video above. It seems his invention has everything one could ask for, in the several meters tall, sphere-shaped, "Noah's Ark", which is designed to withstand both tsunamis and devastating earthquakes. Strap yourself in and just hang on!
