article imageVideo: 'Metro - Last Light' Commander trailer

By Can Tran     Dec 9, 2012 in Entertainment
The publishers of the upcoming game called "Metro: Last Light" have released a new trailer called the "Commander Trailer" which focuses on a former Russian army commander.
Another preview trailer for the upcoming first-person sci-fi horror shooter game called “Metro: Last Light” is made available for viewing. Like the “supermodel” and “preacher” trailers, the “commander trailer” gives a perspective of the people that are now living in post-apocalyptic Moscow. The supermodel had lost everything she ever had, such as fame and fortune, during the apocalypse and now has to scramble for money like everybody else. In the case of the preacher, he has amassed power and authority, due to being “right about the apocalypse.”
In the case of the commander, the main character in the live-action trailer is a former officer of the Russian military. As he narrates, the fallen commander talks about how he was a decorated officer that commanded respect of the troops. After the apocalypse, the man is no longer a commander. Instead, he is disgraced and treated like garbage for leaving thousands of people to die on the surface when Moscow fell victim to the apocalypse.
Asides from being disgrace, the ex-commander is paying for his actions by being on the receiving end of beatings.
Metro: Last Light comes out on March 31, 2013 for the PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Wii U. The game is developed by 4A Games and published by THQ.
