A Pennsylvania woman is behind bars, accused of stabbing her boyfriend after he tried to take the last beer from the house.
On Thursday, Vanessa Robinson, a 28-year-old woman from Greensburg, PA., became upset when her boyfriend, James Gallone, told her he was leaving and then grabbed the last Colt 45 beer.
WKDK reports that Robinson told Gallone "you’re not taking the beer". She allegedly then grabbed a knife and began wielding it in the direction of Gallone. During the ensuing altercation, Gallone received stab wounds to his arm, neck, back and stomach before getting the knife away from Robinson.
Gallone was taken to Westmoreland Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. Robinson was placed under arrest and charged with Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault. She remains in jail at this time.
Trooper Limani told WTSP:
"Whenever you're talking about an individual that has a knife and they're wielding it in another person's direction and you're talking about minor injuries, just the person receiving just a few stitches, [is] very fortunate. Obviously, it could have been life-threatening."
