Just when you thought the Internet could not get any more strange, or creepy, in walks "The Sexxxtons", an online show featuring a mother and daughter adult entertainment duo.
The Tampa, Fla. mother, 56-year-old Jessica, and her 22-year-old daughter, Monica, have been involved together in the adult entertainment industry for a little more than a year. Earlier this year, they launched their Internet television show and website entitled "The Sexxxtons".
Both mother and daughter will engage in sexual activity in the same room, at the same time with either male or female partners as part of each episode. They never engage in sexual activity with each other however, telling the Huffington Post:
"We will have sex with one man, but not interact with each other. Our lips never touch."
Their Facebook page describes their show as "a mother/daughter porn team who give their house guests the ultimate fantasy."
Monica, who dropped out of school when she was in ninth grade, began working as an exotic dancer when the family was being threatened with eviction from their home. She encouraged her mother to start doing adult entertainment movies before following suit. The two say they got involved in the industry because of money, with Monica telling Gawker:
"I enjoy the sex and I enjoy being with my mom. During the scenes, I think about how we're going to be filthy rich."Bill Margold, an adult film historian, warns that the mother/daughter tandem should not be counting their money just yet. The industry has long been under intense scrutiny for a variety of things, including using underage actors in movies, and even the illusion of creating on-camera incest is something the industry will most likely be very wary of.
Many who have learned of the duo's venture find it disturbing, worried about the emotional toll it will eventually take on the two. Psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman calls it "emotional incest." Others consider it greed and laziness, insinuating the two don't want to work hard enough at a "real job" to make a decent living.
In September, Digital Journal reported on a Brazilian woman who was selling her virginity online. Although she claimed a portion of the money would go to charity, many questioned her morals and considered her "offer" an attempt to get rich quick regardless of the sacrifice. Some label "The Sexxxtons" in the same category, with one person saying of the mother/daughter team:
“People will do anything for money. Thanks capitalism...”
