According to the Westboro Baptist Church's Twitter
account, the group plans on picketing the first of two memorial services for the 22-year-old scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the Ridgeview Family Fellowship Church in Blue Ridge, Texas. KDFW-TV
in Dallas told NFL Network that the funeral is at 1 p.m. CT.
Perkins, an Austin, Texas native who was known by many as Kasi, had only been a mother for about three months when she was killed by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher at their Kansas City home Saturday morning. He then drove with a handgun to Arrowhead Stadium, where he thanked team officials before kneeling down and shooting himself in the head.

Church members often picket military funerals, carrying signs that proclaim that the deaths of U.S. troops are God’s punishment for the country’s acceptance of homosexuality.
The church’s focus has apparently expanded, however.
A day after the murder-suicide, a post on WBC's blog reads
December 2, 2012
PRAISE GOD FOR MURDER-SUICIDE AT ARROWHEAD STADIUM!
KC Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher, shot and killed his girlfriend, then drove to Arrowhead Stadium and shot and killed himself in front of his coaches.
Football is an idol in Doomed america. This nation makes gods out of these brutes, promising them everything to get them to “play” for them. Then, players take the glory for themselves. God laughs while He takes it all from you. WBC joins Him.
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh (Pr. 1:24-26.)
The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength. (Ps. 52:6-7.)
Blue Ridge is 50 miles northeast of Dallas.
Perkins is survived by the couple's 3-month-old daughter, Zoey. According to the Turrentine Jackson Morrow funeral home, she is also survived by two siblings, her parents, grandparents and a great-grandmother.
